Tons of cool relics bottles and more at 1800s homesite

Had a great day detecting yesterday. I found some of the coolest curiousities and relics I've ever seen including an unopened can of tobacco, a bone or possibly ivory toothbrush from the mid 1800s. Many great bottles, and even a hundred year old DR Scholls shoe insert. The finds were great and the surface was not even fully scratched. I can't wait to go back! Great video. Especially like seeing the finds without all the coil swinging and digging. This should be the standard for all videos.

Although it doesn't make sense in that context, the spike looking thing looks EXACTLY like what I was told was a cleat from a combine threshing shelf. It didn't make sense in the area I found mine, but that's what I was told. If you hear a better idea, please let me know.

Thanks Phillip, I tried finding a picture on the Internet of a clear like you said, but was unable to but I can totally see how it could a part of something like that looking at some of the old illustrations of farm equipment I was able to find. The only idea I had after cleaning it a bit was maybe a decorative piece that would have been mounted on a door or wall. But it seems like too much iron for that. Glad you liked the video, I only just started to record my hunts since I found some old maps and am really getting some interesting spots to hunt with some really old and unique targets and coins.
