Been laid up a bit lately and found myself thinking WAY too much. But, I thought I would toss a couple questions out to the group. Always nice to get input from fellow detectorists. Question 1. Are there any VDI readings on the MXT that ALWAYS prove to be trash? Seems like rings can show up reading just about anywhere and I wondered if any specific targets could be passed by without reservation. How about those negative numbers? (e.g. is 32 always a pulltab? ) If your answer to this question is yes, then I would appreciate knowing what your experience has been and what those numbers are. Not for the good stuff. Just the definite bad stuff. If your answer is NO, and that you dig all signals, then I have a second question for you. If you dig every signal, why did you chose a machine with a display? I know the MXT is a great machine and has excellent depth and separation. But if you dig every target, regardless of reading, why did you feel you needed a display? Hopefully this will stir up some interesting conversation. thanks HH
