When I plugged my head phones in they did not work. I then plugged my other head phones in and they did not work. The headphones are Koss headphones you get when you buy a Minelab detector. I plugged in an older pair of whites headphones and they worked. They all have the 1/4" jack. Does anyone know what the problem is?????? I like the Koss headphones and want to keep using them. Does anyone have any ideas of what is going on????

Is the 1/4" plug configuration the same on the Koss h.p.'s as it is on your h.p.'s that work?-----Sounds like they aren't matching up with the F-75.----You might try cleaning the plug good on the Koss h.p.'s, then plugging them in & out of the F-75 several times.----Headphone connections can be touchy (intermittent) at times but it just sounds like the Koss h.p.'s aren't connecting properly on your F-75.

I think it is a stereo/mono deal. Some headphones have a switch to move between. I would guess that is the issue. At least I hope so for your sake. Let us know how it turns out for you.

the standard headphones that come on the minelabs are the Koss UR 30s and they should work fine with your F75. make sure the plug is pushed all the way in?

To be sure try the two non working pair of head phones on some other piece of equipment to make sure they are working.

The Minelabs take a different type of headphone with a mono plug, I can't use my headphones from my Minelab on the F75, volume is too low. The F75 requires a stereo plug, won't work with a mono plug. Most detector headphones have a limiter switch that can switch between stereo and mono.

to work on my F75 special edition. I just pushed the phone jack in hard and guess what, SOUND. Thanks guys for all your advice, suggestions, that's what makes this forum so good, is everyone helps one another. THANKS...............................
