We had a raffle at our club for a slightly used Ace 250 with extra coil. My daughter Grace was hoping I could win it for her. Well a good friend won it and that evening he gave it to Grace and said Happy Birthday! So needless to say she has been chomping at the bit to go find treasure!
We hit two chip bark tot lots today. She was very excited to find her first piece of jewelry. A neat little butterfly pendant.

We had fun. Here is our take. She got 30 cents and some doo-dads, I got $1.17 and plenty more doo-dads. Notice we both found a 123 barrett in two different places.

Good stuff. These are the things she's going to remember when she gets older!

That was very nice of your friend. Tell her a late happy birthday for me.

Now that's a good friend! I'm excited for Grace! Tell her congrats on the cool find!

I wish my 16 y.o daughter would take an interest in this hobby !! she thinks its "dorky" and is embarrassed when i mention it to people or take my gear along.....she sure loves the white gold solitare diamond ring i gave her from this "dorky' hobby !! :canadaflag: :garrett:

Hi Elvis...she will appreciate more of what you are doing and the blessing you've given her when she is past her teen years! Give her time she will come around sooner or later but might not ever like :detecting: herself...either it is liked or it isn't!  Ma Betty

Too cute Mike! :wiggle::wiggle: Thank you for sharing! God Bless!
