Well there is an older house just up the street from me that is going to be pulled down soon. I took the T2 to the back yard..the soil changes in this yard...it appears that there is enough junk there that it could have been a scrap yard..found nothing worthwhile... however I was just trying to figure the beast out.
I noticed that a modern Canadian penny shows up as iron/zinc
Also my read out kept going to overload when over cans..there had a "good" readout until I was right over them.
A twist off beer cap showed up as 25 cent on the scale.
I was using the 2+ desc. 40 in the disc mode
I played around with the numbers a little ( not much) but it seemed not to make much differance.
As I said it was a very "dirty" area...I think if I knew the machine a bit better I might had done better.
I thin to learn this machine it would be better starting out in cleaner areas.
I intend to hit a couple of Indian villiages soon....I guess if I am over a trade axe my machine will read out overload again.
