Took the XT70 out for a while today. No great finds but had a quiet time to relax and think.

Stopped at several places close to home. Pretty well pounded now that Ron moved to town. Got clad and 3 Wheats a button and buckle.
Did manage two old coppers almost in the same hole.

The XT70 seems to be a very stable machine. Other machines just need more time to work out the bugs.

The Xterras have company (or competition, depending on how you feel) around these parts, and Ron has shown me quite a few tricks over time. Ron's been a great friend and mentor. Couldn't have asked for a better hunting partner.

Thank you, Bob. We were off target on that coin, Bob... That was no Large Cent, it was a variety of the Washington Success Token (see my article online at streeters.org). Have found some other nice copper coins since then (see The Treasure Depot's Top Finds page).
