Well, there is a lot of disagreement on the great tribulation and when the saints are resurrected! Some believe pre-trib, some mid-trib and some think we will be here through it all unless we''ve died before it happens! My studying (KJV) tells me we will be here before the last 3-1/2 years but not everyone can be right! As long as we are washed in Jesus' precious shed blood by faith and are prepared for Jesus' return, it really doesn't matter does it, except if we are here during the first 3-1/2 years we will need to be patient like Daniel Chapter 12: Verses 10,11 &12 read: Many shall be purified , and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time of the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (3-1/2 years) (Approx 42 months) Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (approx. 44-1/2 months).
I Corinthians 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power! (( Those who have God's Holy Spirit indwelling them!))
II Thessalonians Chapter 2: Apostle Paul -- about the great apostasy.....deserting one's faith!!!
1. Now, we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
2. That ye be soon not shaken (being patient) in mind, or be troubled, neither by spiri, nor by word, nor by letter as by us (Paul and his workers), as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there be a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed , the son of perdition; (The antichrist)
4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6.And now ye know what witholdeth that he might be revealed in his time, ((the antichrist)) (let---hindrance) -- ((see Mark Chapter 13))
7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth (hinders) will let (hinder), until he be taken out of the way! (( The faithful saints of God occupying in the place of Jesus, by witnessing and spreading the Gospel of Jesus will be taken out of the way, along with the Holy Spirit of God, when caught up unto Jesus in the air)).
8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed (the antichrist), whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: ((After the great tribulation))
9. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders!,
10. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; ( unbelievers who die in their sins) because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved! ((God's absolute truth in His Holy Word, The Bible, that Jesus is the Savior of the world, for He is life, the truth and the way unto our Heavenly Father, God Jehovah))
11. And for this cause God will send them a strong delusion, that they would believe a lie:
12. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness! ((The falling way from their faith which is the Great Apostacy))
15. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, ((saints patience)) and hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle! (the righteousness of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Whom we must believe for receiving salvation, by His forgiveness of our repentant sins, with redemption from the second death which is being cast into the Lake of Fire!))
16. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, ((blessed assurance that Jesus is ours))
17. Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work!
In the Book of Revelation....Chapter 15: V8...When the seven angels with seven golden vials full of the wrath of God were ready, no man was able to enter into the temple (full of the Glory of God) until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled . This was during the last 3-1/2 years of the tribulation when the Wrath of God was really poured out upon those who had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. (16.2) These will be like the terrible plagues poured out by God on Pharoah and the Egytians at the end just before Moses led the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, but more so!
There will be peace and quite in heaven while this is all going on after the saints of God have been caught up before the last 3-1/2 years of the great tribulation! Rev. 8:1 & Rev. 8.2 This is when the seventh seal is opened and the blowing of the seven trumpets and then the seven plagues shall be cast down upon all the evil ones on earth! The Jews will be sealed of the 144 thousand and not be harmed, although they will still be on earth unto the end, when Jesus shall return with His faithful saints who're are serving Him in heaven, and cast satan into the bottomless put for setting up His reign for a thousand years of peace
and after that satan is loosed for a short while and tries to encamp around the saints of God, when He rains down fire and brimstone upon satan and casts the antichrist, the beast and the false prophet into the Lake of fire, for satan is the anitchrist, the false prophet and the beast being three in one....copying after God Who is three in one...the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit! Glory Hallelujah, Lucifer...called satan, the devil, the father of lies and so forth will meet his final ending! Victory is ours through our Lord Jesus Christ's victory at the cross, for He was virgin born, who had no sins...took all our sins upon Himself and set us free from the second death's punishment in the Lake of Fire and was resurrect up unto His Father just like we will be, but we must accept Him as our own personal Savior, by faith believing He is Who He says He is.....which is plainly written in the Bible and all scriptures are true! II Timothy 3:16.......All scripture is given by the inspiration of God. and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works!
I studied and studied this for almost 20 years, but have forgotten some of what I had learned that made it clear in my mind when I was more sure of what I believe! If I had continued like I was studying, it probably would be more clear and I could find the scriptues and write them in order as they happened or are to happen! So forgive me, if I have not made this clear enough about the prophecies concerning the resurrection of the saints or the time of the great tribulation. I am not as bright and smart as others....but I do use Common Sense and learn as the Holy Spirit of God teaches and leads me into all truth as I understand it. The unclearness of the Bible to many is because we see as through a glass darkly.....not knowing as God knows, but the true saints of God will know all things when we are with Him! Amen!
Our duty is to occupy until He comes again and do the works that He would do if He were still on earth in the flesh of man but still was fully God! We are to help others who are less fortunate than we are and witness to the lost in Jesus' love to help save more souls for God's Kingdom! Amen & Amen!
