Torn down house.

I went back to this old place and was surprised to see that the house was torn down. I got some nice silver out of this place in the past and after they moved some dirt around my old Explorer XS found some more. I got a 1951 franklin half, a 51 quarter, a tax token, a buff with no date, 1935 and 1940 mercs, a 64 rosie, four 1940, two 41's, one 44, one 46 and one 1930 wheaties. I'm sure there is still some more left to be found. HH.

Sweet! BIG SILVER...love it!

I would much rather find a walking liberty half, but I'll take silver of any kind these days. I'm sending you a private meesage also. Thanks again Mike. HH.

Nothing like the large silver to make ones day. I assume your still using the stock coil as the other is due in tomorrow if I recall your other posts. Great finds Eddie

Yep!! I was using the stock coil and the ground was really unstable until I turned my sensitivity down and the sounds were more understandable. My Platypus should be here tomorrow...............; )

Nice haul you brung in today. Better make sure to go back and see if there isn't any more keepers there before someone else does.

Old Ben looks real good :)

Let me know how it goes with the Platypus. I just got mine a couple of weeks ago but haven't had a chance to do much digging lately. Hopefully, I'll see a thaw soon and be able to dig a little dirt. I'd like to compare notes. Email me if you get a chance.

Thanks!

Thanks James. I think I maybe too late already. I told my buddy about this place and I'm sure that since he is his own boss and owns his own business that he has hit this place on his so called lunch break.......:) HH.

Thanks Joe. I will certainly email you on how the Platypus works for me after our hunt this Saturday. Hopefully I will have some good things to talk about and post as well. HH.

Hi Eddie,

Very nice finds, I also use a Platypus and a 15inch WOT both are excellent coils for their separate applications, I think you will be very happy with your Platypus. I have packed the stock coil away and use the Platypus as a direct replacement, I find it a little better than the stock coil and in tight places a lot easier to use.

Happy hunting....Boony

Hi Bonny,
Thanks and I'm sure if what I have read and heard about the Platypus, my stock coil will be put in mothballs. I had a 15" WOT coil, but it was just too heavy for me and I ended up selling it to one of my club buddies. I have since gotten one of those bungee things and wished I would have kept that WOT now. I may get another one down the road someday. HH.
