Totals for the month...

Jack(IN)

New member
I have to say I've had the best clad month ever, thanks to a site found just loaded with clad. When you see my totals know my friend found more hunting there in eight days than I did all month. Of course he spent about 8 hours a day there. Place was just loaded!! Anyways, my totals are:

2 Susan B Dollars
2 Clad Kennedy Halves
241 Clad Quarters
355 Clad Dimes
3 Mercs(41, 41, 43-D)
1 Barber Dime(189:geek:
2 War Nickels(45-P, 45-S)
283 Clad Nickels(90 in one day)
7 Buffalo(19, 35, 5 with no date)
431 Memorial Cents
34 Wheats
2 Indians(67, 02)
I also found my first gold of the year a small 10K gold ring, 4 silver rings, a silver charm, a nice watch, an old lock, and a St Anne medallion. Most of the older coins did not come from the clad site, but the few times I went digging older(which I plan to spend more time doing) coins. A total of 1366 coins amounting $118.44.

Do you hunt the same area all the time....just in general do you hunt on private property or is public....

I primarily hunt Parks and schools but I do hunt private property(have permission to hunt a house biult in 1847). Most of the clad came from two places, the older coins came from various Parks in Ohio and Indiana.

This place was just loaded and was hoping to find a few rings, but for all the nickels only found a couple. Prefer deep silver, but this was a good change!
