Tough Day on Long Island Sound 5/23/11

Another very tough day on Long Island Sound! Drove over to Oakland Beach in Rye, NY, to give it one more shot before it is closed to Metal Detecting on Memorial Day. No clad, but I scored my first two hoop earrings - both pretty much worthless. Nice little bead and a Hot Wheels car, and some sort of toy cat! Another 4-hours of solid experience, so hey, I am not going to complain - too much! Tomorrow I head up to the beach house in Milford, CT, and I am hoping for better results!

Well Terry, you have the commitment, you got the gear, you have a serious case of long term gold fever, so I'm expecting to see some good finds outta you this summer!
Youre just one coil swing away, Brother!

Your going to score with that Sand Shark soon and I'm going to be jealous. I have 7 weeks to go before my beach vacation so all I can do is beach hunt through you guys from your posts.

Thanks for sharing Terry and I wish you luck
