Tough hunt on Saturday but still managed a few keepers.

this weekend and hope the Silver is present when it is time to hunt. It was still a good hunt that day and the Barber Quarter really helped raise the spirits. Thanks for the reply and hope to have more finds in a few days. Good Luck and HH to you.

James, been a busy week at the farm, big storm replacing shingles, power was out for a week off line, back on yesterday .Last Friday routine took the dogs down to the barn to grain the horses. On the way back the mares are in a split pasture they were in green grass so I had to bring them into the other pasture a simple process usually. Both dogs the Great Dane and Britney got a head of me and had to walk by the mares plenty of room 20 yards to get to the outside gate.Ocala(grand daughter of Seattle Slew) with no warning split second walked over to the Britney and planted both front hoofs on the Britney the dog was dying as I picked her up she bit my hand three times,if she was left there the mare would finish the job.Anyway the hand is a mess and I hope it doesn't get infected I may try a short hunt.I am in a slump though my last time out a lot of wheat's and a silver 1960 Canadian dime.Good to see your post, great finds and like you I enjoy out on the hunt. The Britney was taken to a Vet and may survive .Thanks Ron

Sounds like your very busy with a little of everything now. Sorry to hear about the dog and repairs you are having to do on the farm. Hope the dog pulls through fine and hope your hand doesn't get infected also. Just make sure to let your hand heal for awhile before you do any hard labor or digging since this may set you back longer. I'll keep you in my thoughts for a fast recovery for the dog and your hand and hope you have some Good Luck and HH when everything gets back to normal. Thanks for the reply back!

Glad you liked the finds once again Crow-Duck. Now only if I can find the Big Sister to her, then I would be really happy! Thanks for looking and Good Luck and HH to you on your next hunt.
