thank you for the info about JW Fisher, now I am wondering if anyone has a used one they may want to sell? Proton 4 boat towed magnetometer with cable would be the preferred model

Tom,
We have a Proton 3 that was donated several years ago. We intended to use it for deep water remote sensing, but since then we received a donated Wesmar side-scan, which has served very well in our deep water remote sensing efforts. We have not used the Proton, so I am unsure how well it works, but, I can pull it out of storage and run it through its paces. If it works out well, we might be willing to sell it. You can contact us direct at wrecksite at ec dot rr dot com... We have a special project going on off Wimble Shoals and we need the funding.
