Toy Gun

It's pretty neat to pull an old toy out of the ground and it still actually works. The research I've done indicates 1940's to 1950's. The cocking mechanism or hammer still works when the trigger is used!

It's always cool to dig an intact toy gun. So often they are in parts. Your find is an indication of your good recovery method. Good job. Best of luck and...

With the exception of the all-metal grip, it looks just like the cap gun I had when I was a kid (1960's). I'm amazed the steel spring mechanism didn't rust to pieces!

Yeah, I was slightly apprehensive about multiple trigger pulls but it's not like its super valuable but it is definitely a cool find!! HH

Neat gun. Always fun to find old toys .
