While out detecting a gentleman approach me asked if i could explain how his mach works? Can you guys give me any tips,tricks,or info? Depth settings or whatever, thanks in advance will pass along all advice otie

It's pretty well standard settings for this machine. Sensitivity 85-90%. If you use disc., rotate all the way to left and dig everything. All metal if you've the stomach for all the iron nails, etc. Tone-rotate the dial from the lowest setting until a nickel just gets a clear low tone. then nickels will give a low tone, tabs, rings etc. a mixed tone, and clad coins a high tone.
