Tracking GB offset question

BillF

Active member
In the manual it talks of if your neutral GB is say 45 and the offset setting is +5, then the displayed number is 50.
Why not just set the GB for 50 and put it in tracking? What is the advantage of setting GB, then pressing Accept/reject, adjusting offset then pressing Accept/ reject again?
I must be missing something but I'm not sure what.

If you just change the GB and turn on Tracking it will change back to whatever it decides is best. By setting the Offset, it will continually track with that amount of Offset.
If you're hunting without Tracking on, then your method would work fine.

OK, got it. I don't know why I couldn't understand what it was saying, but it makes sense now. Thank you.
