General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

If you have been eying up the XP Deus but have been cringing at the price tag, here's a way to get one and thin out some of your collection of detectors that is just gathering dust . . . . .

We are looking for lower-priced units for our retail store and are offering a unique program to provide a win-win solution . . . . . if you have a working detector that you are not using anymore - regardless of what you personally paid for it - we will credit you 100% of the original list price - up to $600 - towards either a WS4 or WS5 package with either the 9" or 11" search coil.

Here's how it works . . . . Say you bought a Tesoro Vaquero 5 years ago and it's found a home in the back of your closet. We will credit you the original list price of $425 towards an XP Deus. How about an older Fisher 1270-X . . . well, the same holds true and as long as it is working, we will credit you the $559.95 it sold for a decade ago.

The number of walk-in's that are looking to rent a unit to see if they like it outnumbers those looking for a high-end detector which is why we are looking for units that can serve as rentals and let people actually find things. . . hate to put a few $100 detectors up and have people more frustrated than anything else. We also offer loaners to customers while their unit is in for service if needed and again, need something that they can find things with but not requiring us to break open a $2,000 detector.

As those that know me can attest, above board is the only way I roll :cheers:

I have to assume you are valuing the WS4 and WS5 options at full advertised retail. Is that correct?
 
if i had the money id totally buy one but all i have to trade is a AT-Pro which i know wouldnt get me one so im kinda out of luck on this one.Between college and a terrible job.
 
Can we use more than one detector? I have about 3 I was thinking of selling. Mxt, tesoro golden umax, and another one that I haven't decided on yet....
 
We just wanted to clarify this program as we have had questions. We are looking for detectors that can be used for rentals or loaners in our shop which was the basis for the trade-in allowance. We have had offers of high-end units which are well outside of warranty with the expectation of receiving full retail off of a discounted Deus price. We would love to help people out on getting a Deus or in some cases a second one but in these cases, we often can't meet on common ground.

If you have a detecor that meets the criteria described above, we would love to discuss a trade. Unfortunately we are not able to take in multiple detectors at original list price but we would be open to see what we can do to make the multiple trade happen.

Just to update everyone on the Trade-in/Trade-Up Program for the XP Deus. We are sorry to announce that this program is ending with us. We have had some good response but with the change of price of the XP at the first of the year we are unable to continue this program. We do however encourage you to call us for a great price on a new XP Deus along with top-notch service and support before and after the sale. We can lead you to if this is the right machine for you and when you purchase which coil would be best for your area.
