Traded my Minelab Sovereign GT for an Explorer II (First hunt was amazing)

Just thought I would share my first great find with my newly acquired Explorer II. I found a 1775 Machins Mills KGIII copper!!!

I just recently traded my Minelab Sovereign GT for a used Explorer II with an 8" minelab coil, 8" x 11" elliptical platypus coil, and a 5.5" Sunray coil. The Explorer also came with the sunray probe . THIS WAS MY FIRST HUNT WITH THE EXPLORER II. The coin was my second target I've ever dug with my new detector. Have to say, I am thrilled.

AWESOME MACHINE!!! I don't think my GT would have seen the coin. The area was covered in iron. Much faster recovery speed on the Explorer.

The GT I traded had the Sunray probe too. Love my new Explorer II though.
