Transferring Minelab Warranty

I know that Minelab doesn't transfer warranty's when you buy from someone else...

BUT....

What if you swapped Minelab machines with someone else...And both machines were under warranty...
Lets say I wanted to Trade my Explorer to someone who owns a GT... do you think they would switch the paperwork...
 
No i dont. However, from talking to people who have bought used detectors most make an agreement that repairs will be made under the previous owners name as part of the deal.
