Noticed on some of the forums trash talking xp deus. Wish i could hunt behind thease guys because i have spent five years with the best machines out there and deus talks in ways that others just cant.each day i learn more and more. THIS MACHINE IS SURGICALLY PERCISE UNLIKE ANY OF THE TOP 5 . This is simply fact. Brand loyalty drives most negative comments. I was once a slave to brand but now i use what really gets the job done. Deus can be adjusted to any situations without the deep menues of some top units. I dont work for xp. I simply want those who are on the fence about this detector to not be swayed by people who have never laid there hands on one! I think the top five manufacturers will have to rethink some of the ways we have approached design.

I could not agree more with what you said jmann, word for word, you nailed it. The Deus works. Plain and simple. I am not going to say that it is better, or worse than any other brand, as that is NEVER conducive, but the Deus works and it does so extremely well in a wide range of uses. The language it speaks is brilliant. For the nay-sayers, I agree with you, those people most likely have never touched one. As for brand loyalty, I love Minelab, through and through. Their products are great and their customer service is excellent, however, I am VERY happy with my Deus and am using it almost exclusively these days for my land needs. I don't think the top 5 brands have to worry about the Deus per se, as their machines are all excellent as well, but the Deus sure is everything that it was touted as being and more. I am extremely happy with mine and will be holding onto it for a long time, that is for sure.

Thanks for your post as people need to hear more feedback from actual users/owners, instead of all the opinions of people who read about this machine or know a guy, who knows a guy, who heard from someone that the Deus is not everything that it is said to be.

This machine works, and works well, plain and simple. The more I use mine, the more I like it.

I am not brand loyal and use what WORKS for ME and that's an XP Deus and Minelab E-Trac. Here's the kicker, the best detector on the market today is the one that works best for YOU. It makes no difference if you swing a Bounty Hunter or XP Deus. If it works for you, that's all that matters. Trash talking posts are just plain useless and not worth reading.

I have noticed the same thing, but as time goes by and there are more posts made from people that actually have and used the Deus, the less I see of these negative posts. I wonder why?

Double Bingo and couldn't agree more. Hate stumbling upon trash talking posts and brand loyalist and always add use what works for you.
Everyone is an individual and what works for one person may not for the next and vice verse trick is finding what works for you as an individual and the rest
will fall into place.
