Trashy old park hunt.:fisher:

My buddy and I have worked this inner city park pretty hard off and on since late last spring with a variety of detectors and it non the less continues to give up the occasional goodie. About the time we are talking about giving up on it, it teases us along with some kind of silver. This morning I was listening and watching for nickel hits as other coin targets were few and far between. Ultimately, I did manage 8 nickels and 2, being war nickels. A 43P and a 45D. Along the way I did get 2 wheat cents, 1 a 50d and the other toasted. Near the end of the hunt I was able to sneak up on the 41s Washington quarter. Off to the side of it about 2" was a short rusty bolt. I've kept the 11" DD coil on and was running sen of 85, disc 4, 3h tones and mostly de mode. In the tall, thicker grassy spots I would switch to b p mode. You northern guys, if you would be so kind, send some moisture and cooler temps down this way. And I thank you in advance. HH jim tn

n/t

Ha! If Jim's been there more than once, it should be classified as "hunted out" on some National registry for silver anyway..this guy is the silverest finding son of a gun Ive ever seen!
Mud

Ha! I've come to learn, Mud, I like hunting after myself. Knowingly, its just a matter of time before a silver pops up. There are some "silverest" finding guys that have well cracked the 100 silver mark this year and I am still working on mine. HH jim tn
