Well here we are back in L.I.N.Y. with a few more pcs. of clad. The weather was great, the beaches beautiful & the people unreal like you have known them your whole life. Friday NE winds rough surf 12 clad between 3 0f us.,Odds & end iorn pcs. Sat. the beaches were sanded in real bad, The dunes were cut terible from the storms, the state had trucked sand in . Only one part was the orig. sand, that was buy sebastian inlet. Sunday only hunted the morning, again only clad until one of my friends hit a silver cross ,fresh drop. All in All we had a great time & we plan on doing it again. The BH performed well & if anything was there we would have found it. I was diggin DEEP. WE HAD A GOOD WALK ABOUT 18 MILES OR SO & BOY DO I feel it. Any way had alot of fun can't wait to do it all again. Good HUnting .& have fun

Darn sand! We have the same problem here. I wonder how much tax $$$ go into fighting mother nature?? I'd hate to know. Did you take an Excal for backup?? lol. Glad yall had fun!

Yes It was a back up & stayed in the room, Only used the BH. I had made a new 3 pc.travel shaft for the BH & waist mounted the box , was nice & light.

We stayed in Ho jO'S --HOWARD JOHNSONS, Fri. to Sunday, $149.00 for two in Vero beach. there were other people there with detectors ,mostly people on vacation, there were a few locals out, nice people to talk with ,gave us alot of info. But all in all there wasn't many people hunting. Good Luck when you go . Keep us posted

Great thanks for the info...It will be our 1st time there and have been dreaming about it. Too bad they brought in fresh sand and covered everything up...Oh well, glad you have a nice time.

Yup, thats it. Part of the Regla may have drifted up that way. Or may be an unknown wreck. Is that area pretty accessable or do you have to walk a long way to get to it?

Yes very easy to get to. Right b4 you get to the Mc Larty museum on a1a there is a parking lot for the beach. And the same north of the inlet there a beach parking lot, There very small lots, but with the season over it should not be to bad with the parking. Good Luck

That sand was not touched, We went to the Mc Larty Museum, the Mel Fisher's was closed for the month of Sept. Your'll be able to go to Fishers it should be open. The Mc Larty museum there is a $ 1.00 donation, it's small but it's cool.
