Treasure pro and discrimination?

I have one on the way and was wondering if say your in a program like coin & jewelry mode. Can you take out the iron discrimination from that mode so that there is no discrimination, while still in the coin & jewelry mode?
Maybe a better way to ask is can you run in coin & jewelry mode with NO discrimination? Thanks

I am not a park hunter, but i will tell you what i think of it after a week or so of using it.

My first week or so with it and i can tell you,,,,, i like it. Not going to tell you how deep i can hit targets with it. Some jokers on here only make fun of you about that, shame really. This should be a place to learn. I will say its pretty darn deep. Not kidding. Was having a little trouble detecting right after a rain. It was really wet and muddy. I switched over to the beach mode and everything smoothed right up. I like it.

Good work finding and using the Beach mode for the mud. That's exactly what it's there for. You might also want to try, after swinging a few swings, locking the ground tracking by hitting the Track button after it's learned the soil a bit and ground balanced. This is awesome if you happen to be searching in fairly stable soil. If you are dealing with mineralized soil and soil that is constantly changing, constant tracking helps but if you lock it you can get a more able machine in "friendly" soil. I was getting lots of odd chirps and stuff until I discovered that the tracking was unnecessary in the soil I was in. Everything became more stable and only then was I able to "see" more targets, not tracking anomalies. As for depth, I know what you mean about mentioning it in the forums. It's an easy target for armchair detectorists! My Fisher CZ5 is a deep seeker to be sure, but even with 2 frequencies, with a concentric coil, the TreasurePro is quite able and is quickly proving itself to be just as able a machine! At 1/4 of the weight! I am easily digging targets at 5"-7" and for coins and jewelry, rarely do those items sink much deeper. in OK we have a clay layer that generally starts at around 6"-9" down. Most items stop there. My best stuff, gold rings, silver rings and other treasure has never been been below that. Only rarely do I come upon deep targets. Sandy areas around our lakes and rivers do allow for deeper sinking but I rarely search those spots. I know I should though. I'm working on it! There's gold in that there sandy spots!
