Dear friends,
This is my testimony regarding the great repair service I received recently from Treasure Products, Inc., Simi Valley, CA, on my "Vibra-Probe 570" Pinpointer.
I purchased my subject pinpointer October, 2007 (almost 5 years ago.) and it has helped me quickly find many targets while metal detecting over the years. Recently I noticed that the on-target vibration rate had slowed and the sound level was lower.
I phoned Treasure Products and explained to Mike how my pinpointer was acting. His guess was that the vibrator motor needed replacing. So I shipped my Vibra-Probe 570 to their factory on August 15, 2012, including a letter to Mike confirming the information I had given to him on the phone. As reported, I tried replacing the 9 volt battery with a new one, but that didn't improve the operation.
On August 29th ( 14 days later.) I received my pinpointer back and it works like new again ! The one-year warranty had expired long ago, however, there was no charge for repair or return shipping cost. My shipping cost to send the pinpointer to the factory for repair was just $14.05, including insurance and delivery confirmation.
Kudos to Treasure Products, Inc. for their great "after the sale " service !
