Treasures from my first water hunt

[Gold Nuggets]

Hello All......
I am a newbe to this forum but I have been reading about many of the great finds that have been posted.
I have always wanted to try water detecting so I talked my hunting partner (RonOR) into selling me his
back-up Excalibur 1000. He tutored me in the how to's and away we went to a fresh water lake to try the
swimming beaches. We both found some interesting items, clad coins, jewelery and had a pretty successful
day of detecting. I did manage to find my first mans GOLD ring (8.1 grams) in the water so that made the
day even sweeter!! Thanks for looking............... Gold Nuggets
