I too was on the mentioned site for a while but found it too confusing and far too difficult to maneuver from one place to another. I finally gave up and decided to call this forum 'home'.

Myself and a bunch of others were on Tnet and someone was selling detectors that didn't work. These were internet purchases. The owner of Tnet, Mark, wouldn't say who the person/company was so a bunch of us left and never did go back. steve in so az

...the one about the lost silver bonanza in the Keweenaw in Upper Michigan-You can find it under Treasure Tales State by State under Michigan-Funny thing is;one guy on there has"irrefutible proof" that the story is a hoax;another claims to know the guy that "knows exactly where it is"-Still another e-mailed me,and wanted him and me to go up there and scout around for it last summer....Of course,they left out if its there;its on private property;and if we went to look for it,we could just prove its there;and not take anything......

but for info it is one of the best I have found, you can post almost ANYTHING in the whatisit forum there and get a answer within minutes, a lot of very knowledgeable guys on there

Just had a heated discussion with a couple of members of the TN site. They chose to criticize the posting of so called "crappy pictures" other than offering help.
Told them they give that forum a bad name. Some things just push my buttons.
