Tree root dig...

Find from Corfe Castle rally,Dorset,England!

Found this coin last saturday in the woods around Corfe Castle. Was getting a nice lovely sound,so I started to dig only to find that there where big tree roots allround.
One root had a hole in the side, perfectly sized for a propointer to get in.And there in the middle of the root was the find, propionter screaming out the highest tones.
Only had a spade,so I could do nothing,I tried believe me...
So I left it there, and marked the spot with some branches.

Returned next day and last at the rally.Another detectorist was also doing the woods, and I asked him if he wanted to check the signal with his explorer se.And he also got a high tone.I said its probably some musket ball
or something.Well,we was actually very curios what was in there so we started to dig and using a knife. We worked for sometime and then we could see a bit of a old silver coin.
Now we definitely have to get it up....
My digging partner run to his car and came back with a tough digging tool...we worked the root, and after a 15-20 min she finally laid there.free, after hundreds of years in the ground..a Elisabeth the I,sixpence 1569!!!!!!

You can see the dig on youtube...

I understand that!
But you have beautiful silver coins, and finds that we don't have.I get very exhilarated when finding coins and relics that are 2000 years old.
That is natural, but my heart starts to beat when I dig up a hundred year old fine silver in the same as the Romans,Celtic,or medieval, every find has its one
individuality.
I live in Sweden and England is less then 2 hours flight, all ready planing for next trip. One day I will be in US for some hunt, would be great!

On the rally in Corfe Castle there was people from Australia,Norway,Holland,USA,Canada and other nationalities. This was the first rally for me and someone said I gonna be disappointed ,but from my point of view I think it was the best detecting I ever had.
