Trident 2 Extreme arrived

My new Trident 2Extreme has arrived. It comes with the latest Tesoro coil larger than the 9x8 its 11x8 Double D the whole unit is light and well balanced uses AA batteries instead of the PP3. I will let you know how I get on when the weather gets better

Well, I'll display my ignorance here. What is a Trident 2Extreme ? Haven't kept up with what's going on in the detector world for a long time.

The Trident 2 Ectreme is a Trident 2 upgraded by a UK expert. I used a Cibola in the past and this one is said to be that on Steroids !! we will see

Brain,its goo to see that you are still able to detect,and the Trident Extreme from Dave at Pentechnics does sound on paper a real beast of a machine,but saying the lack of sales of this detector does seem to indicate that its not upto all the hype.Of course my conclusion is based on obeservation of these detectors out in the field and in all the time since this models launch i have never seen one being used either on a club dig or a rally.

The main thing of course is that 'you' are happy using it and it ticks all your boxes and of course your experience gained from many years using detectors,good luck with yopur new toy.
