today - Fisher 1208 X. It's an underwater detector but works great on dry land as well. It's basically the same as my current 1266 XB only waterproof & set up to not be bothered by ocean minerals, etc.
I ordered my new coil for the broken detector and it will be here later this week. So I dug about 30 coins today, got a few right up against the metal poles I was glad to see.
Weather's getting better all across the country it looks like, hope you all are planning trips now, steve in so az
