Trip to a new Site

Made the grueling 5.5 mile uphill bike trip to a new Catholic School football field today, and boy what a gold mine...A LOT of bottlecaps, so I put the White's Classic II into coin only mode (turned DISC up), and just cherry picked the area...Only had 45 min to hunt by the time I got there, but boy what a hunt...$3.81 in clad, 1 hotwheels Ferrari F5D, and the first row of quarters where ALL found in one hole...I was shocked...I will definitely be hunting here again soon...

I usually hut in the relic mode(XLT) and dig almost every thing unless its a wide loud target. I check it on the surface with the pin pointer and if there is no signal its deep and iron or steel. If there is a signal with the pin pointer it could be surface trash ,IE.foil,shredded can or clad coins etc .Also can judge by the depth indicated by the detector if its a coin or other article to dig.
You did well and finding that much clad in such a small area is always nice..
Should be lots more for you to find there..

Good run on quarters! I've found multiples in the same hole. 3 one time, 4 another. Curious as to how they got there as 1 set was in a park and the other a fair grounds.

All it takes these days is a kid with those baggy pants to sit down and there goes all his change...They move so quick, they do not even notice, then we come along and find 8 coins in a hole...Gotta love it!!!
