Trouble with the T2 on - off dial

...I'm not complaining but I've used my T2 for about two weeks and I've already cracked both cam locks on the shaft as well as the coil cover. Don't misunderstand me, I think its great technology but you'd expect a little better quality for what this unit retails for.

I have only had mine a week and my first thought was " Its flimsey " I hunt hard and work hard to get to some of the sites I hunt. Took it out yesterday and when I came to a creek I had to cross , my old Tesoro I would just chuck it across and then get myself over as best I can . Dont think this thing can take it. More of a gurley man machine. And it still has not proven itself to me. I hunted a site yesterday ( river port 1818 - 1920 ) it is so full of iron , tin , trash of every discription and the only thing I found were 12th ga.s and none of them deep. I'll try again .

it used to happen to me but since i put a stand on the stem it keeps the machine away from me just enough to cure the problem ,the locking collar cracking is a bad batch the factory are aware of this and will replace them f.o.c most of the january 07 issue u.k ones had this problem
