Troy X3

Hello all!

I came across someone who is selling a Troy X3 for $250. The detector is about a 7.5/10. How much do these go for usually?

Depends on the condition . I personally have seen them go for up to 450.00 in Mint state but used. Very nice detector and for the that money if it works with no issues is a steal. I owned two different ones but sold them to get X5 and a T2 SE .

Now he says that I can have it for $200. If it checks out, I might use it a couple of times.

well if you decide you don't like it let me know

I told him that I would pay $175 if I drove to pick it up (it's an hour and a half drive) and since I would be assuming the risk of buying a used detector. He said no. I did reiterate to him that if he didn't find a buyer, then I would buy it for $180. He wasnt the original owner and really didn't know if it fully worked or not. I really had no hopes of keeping, but re-selling it.
