I seen where some hobbyists were mounting their propointers to their arm cuff and wondered if doing that would balance the Xterra better. I mounted mine there and it does seem to provide better balance. This would make sense since some detectors that are heavier have battery boxes under the arm cuff area yet seem balanced well. Now I know the Xterra is fairly light to begin with but this did seem to help it feel better balanced and just wondered if anybody else thought the same.

I just zip tied the holder around the arm cuff.

Did this last night and it seems to work great. I usually just carry my screwdriver and pp when I go to schools and parks in my left hand. I even tried to secure my screwdriver but might just carry it. I strapped mine to the left of the cup and noticed it will not let it roll onto the headphone jack hopefully protecting it a little better.

This does seem to offset the weight but does add more weight total to my arm

go to a hardware shop buy some alloy tube an make up a straight sharft thats what I done with mine at a cost of $4 made a massive improvement , I have a back injury and I was on the verge of sellin my xterra because as it was I could only swing it for an hr an my back would be on fire ....try'd it with the straight sharft and propointer taped to the arm cuff rod yesterday and was able to detect for 3hrs before my back gave out so for me even with the extra weight of the P pointer the straight sharft makes a huge improvement
