Using Shutterfly as a service is free. Then you just use A HREF protocol. Of course, it took me to look at Steve's post below to remember the string that you type in to retreive the photo.
J.

what kind of bass is it?? I never saw one with 5 strings? Course I havn't played in 40 years <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
Dave

although it is not a top of the line Steinberger. Those are made with a graphite/resin mixture and can cost 1,000 or more dollars. Mines made of wood and much cheaper <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> . If you think 5 are a lot of strings, some luthiers are putting 6-7 strings on basses now!
J.

mine was an old fender that had seen better days, but when you're a highschool kid with no money anything that plays is good. Just curious, do the added strings allow more top or bottom in the register or are they chord compliments?
Dave

The extra strings just add to your range. Typically the 5th string is a low B to give that nice rumbly feeling. But when you go with the 6-7 strings, they go higher, making the bass more like a baritone.

First you type in the text like this then you add this string, which includes the address of the website where the image is stored. It will look like something like this: < img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5dd06b3127cce90895090ddef00000015108QcOWbhoxai">(I put a space between the < and img so that it wouldnt post the picture.
The most important argument listed is the image source (img src=). Everything is contained within the <>'s. Notice also the quotation marks around the address too. Just cut and paste the image address into the address and a picture pops up.
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3d720b3127cce98a1ed2831be00000015108QcOWbhoxai is another picture, and when you add img src= to it, it will turn out like this...
<img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b3d720b3127cce98a1ed2831be00000015108QcOWbhoxai">
Just keep doing that for each photo you want to post.
Now if you want to move the picture around, and center it, you need to add some additional comments, which I dont remember. Maybe Steve can tell us what they are. Hope this helps. What also helps is that the newer versions of Internet Explorer has an "Edit with notepad" feature that allows you to look at a website without the images. It shows you how everything is typed in.
J.

thanks for the info J, God Bless! Have fun with that new fret box!
