tuesday raining bullets

It was raining bullets in more than one way. Got caught in a downpour twice. I found a live .45 bullet at my parents house. Then I went go a park that has what I thought was a little age to it and found this bullet. It looks to be a civil war era bullet. I'm in Fayetteville and we have alot of history in this city. I took a picture of it from both directions hopefully someone knows if its civil war and what happened to it.
