Engine turning, that is, dressing up the chamber that is exposed at the ejection port, first three pics are from a Colt I just did, and last one is of my Rem 1911, eye candy no doubt, great depth, but smooth to the touch, crappy snow today, maybe I'll swirl the silverware......

I used to do custon rifle bolts..... I worked them on until
the demad overtook the fun :stars:. I sold my equipment :stretcher:
 
I started the whole Mosin bolt upgrades that "Boltman" stole from me....... still sorry I didn't understand patent stuff..... I'd be retired :rage: I also came up with an idea of stereo TV sound and contacted all 3 channels (ABC CBS NBC) in the late 60's but my idea was returned in a letter by all 3 as too expensive....I wish I hadn't thrown those letters away. I'm Still thinking of other stuff..... or waiting for the white coats to show up :chase: before I hurt someone :nopity:
 
But i let my FFL expire and i don't know if you've ever looked into gitin one nowdays.
It aint by no means worth it with the way we are all 'overseen' .
