Had some decent temps. today, so I decided to go to my parents house to do some detecting.:detecting: They have a late 1890"s farm house. I have hunted here quite a bit. I was only out for about an hour or so and wasn't finding anything. I started to walk back towards the driveway and got a solid high tone and looked at the screen and it said 46! I circled around the target and was still getting a solid high tone! I've been here before and been hugely disappointed! I carefully made a plug , turned it over, and sitting on the plug was this beautiful disc with a silver rim!! I couldn't believe it!:surprised: This is my first silver half dollar!! It's a 1943! I think I had the shakes for 5 or 10 minutes! If this is the last time to get out this year I couldn't of had a better way to go! HH J.B.

Great looking Walker! Not worn near as much as many are.

Congratulations on a sweet find!

1943 must have been a good year. I found the same coin and year a few months ago at a ball field. My only silver to date in 9 monthsd of swinging this thing. I have the same feeling when I found mine. I wanted to run around and show everyone and the place was empty. Nice find.!!!!!!

Great find JB. Congrats! HH Randy
