The night fore morrow,
And all tru dis house,
Not a critter was stirrin,
Not even dis grouch,
Dem two kids was sleepin,
And nest in dem beds,
An dreamed dat somebody,
Would clean up dis mess,
Dey tossed an dey turn,
An soon dey wood learn,
Lest dey wood pray,
Dey surely wood pay,
If dey didn't clean,
It surely wood mean,
Pain wood be felt,
From da crack of da belt,
But lo and behold,
The story be told,
They cleaned up da house,
An throwed out da mouse,
I got up dis day,
But what could I say,
I must thank in prayer,
To be blessed with dis pair!
