twinloop PI

Hi all!
Am thinking about building the twinloop PI unit
I found posted in an article by Robert and David
Crone.
Has anybody built this one or know of any problems
it might have?
Thanks!

Hi!
I built the twin loop in the pinpointing version with two coils of 11 cm diameter, 23 turns of wire, with 6 cm between the two coils. Works best with two darlington transistors TIP 112.
The consumption in this way is 115 mA. Good with alkaline batteries. Is a stable circuit. Sorry my english.

Thanks for the info.
I've purchased all the ic chips and need to start
laying out the circuit board.
I am new to PI detectors and am anxious to see
how well this will work.

E-MAILED YOU A REQUEST FOR THE LOCATION OF THAT ARTICLE. WOULD APPRECIATE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO.
THANKS!
