Two & 1/2 days with little to show

I have not been doing much lately as far a Mding, I have been on the mountain doing a little work. I got back in town & saw that three houses were being torn down. I knew the crew that was doing the work so I stopped in and gave it a go. All three of the houses were built in the 30's as they dug up the lawn I found a few wheat's but no silver. As the job progressed I knew that there had to be silver there, as of yet I have not found any but today I did pull up a 1901 Indian & a 1923s buff. both are in good shape. As they tear down the houses they will push in dirt from around the lot to fill in the basements so I am hoping that will uncover some old silver. Sorry there are no pics but I left my camera on the mountain & have to go get it. Of all the wheat's there were several 1911, 1919s, 1930s & a few 40's nothing of great value.

I had similar results on two tear-downs. Both homes from the 20's-30's, both gave up (2) Wheats each...and no clad!! Almost sure that no one else had hit either lot. It happens to all of us.
I know I would be happy with what you found..:spin:

Hank1, things are picking up a little I have found a few more wheat's & a 1891 Indian along with the first silver a 1918 SLQ.

Little to show ???....
WOW I wish I had a few days with little to show like that!!!
Sounds like (no picture so can't look) you had some great hunts!!
Congrats on the SLQ Man I'd love to find one of those. It's on the wish list...
Good job.. Keep hitting it hard. I'm sure there must be more!

Huntingdog, it was a little better the last time I went out, I will go back today if they get some dirt moved around. I am hoping that when they start to fill the basements in they will get down to the good stuff. The Indian I found yesterday was down a foot.
