TWO DAYS WITH THE T2

Low-Boy/LCPM

Took the T2 out relic hunting and school clad hunting. The first place is an old town called China Town. Took almost two years to get the OK and I have to tell you this is some hard dirt to hunt. Loaded with iron and big targets lots of overloads. So you just have to dig it all and all and all day long and hope for the best. The T2 was a chatter bug but that is more from the iron in the ground. I was using the 2B tone and disc on 10 and sens about 50. Some small targets did make their way into the upper tone. But a lot of overloads was the dish of the day.

Then went to an everyday run of the mill school and dug clad and two silver rings. The T2 is not as much fun as my other cald detectors and I know I will find more gold with my other detectors then with the T2 but it can hunt cald if you give it a chance and learn your numbers.

Hows the T-2 compare to the Gold Scanner Pro?

not as fast not as good at unmasking in iron but a very good back up. I have to spend more time but I do really like my Gold Scanner

I personally love your posted pics and stories.

Especially when they show the really significant items of your locality. Coins are fun, but oh those rusty items. They are more unique than any crappy modern coinage.

KEEP THOSE LOCKS AND KEYS........Please.

They should be in your local museum...
Their significant to your growing history, is important.....MattR

That's a boatload a clad there.....
& I like the lock. I have a very similar one I need to preserve.

Well Bill about two hundred squats later my two front pockets were filled and my legs were saying leave some clad for the other guy. Then I found the two rings. The T2 was earning its way into my line up.

Boy it would sure be cool to hunt with you and Paul of Calif and some of the other people on this forum. Wish we could all hook up and hunt some virgin place. Let us know when you test the new fisher's.

You guys would love a virgin, remote, Colonial New England foundation like this I bet :) Dang we have hardly hunted this one come to think of it & I didn;t have the T2 yet :surprised: Lots left there.....gutta wait till the deer hunters are done though.....

Bill
