Two fourth century coins for the Trident 2 Extreme

Youngted

New member
Spent an hour on my Roman field this afternoon(March 30th) Found Two Coins the one shown is a reduced follis of Constantine 2nd A.D.330/337 with a reverse of A Camp Gate. The other circa A.D.360 too poor to photograph. Other finds three WW2 .303 bullets this field has produced over 300 of them !! Air shooting by RAF fighters at Targets pulled by other planes

pretty funky design on that roman coin looks like they have some space ship aliens keeping guard , and maybe they really did

Brian, that Constantine is a very nice fine mate with a lovely all over patination, most roman bronzes usually come out much worst than that due to mans using chemicals on the crops, but that has escaped being turned into a roman grot.

Will be out with my Trident Extreme over the weekend,as the weather is looking very good, will be on one of my roman/saxon sites and it will be the 1st full days use of the new machine.

Well done

Found my best roman coin with the original trident and my biggest ever crotal bell.......great machines.I too have a very large collection of 303's.......they used to do target towing over where I used to detect.
