Two Hours Hunting In The Mudd:thumbup:

Two Hours Hunting In The Mudd - got me 17 pennies, 4 dimes, 2 quarters, a wristband, a small copper tag with an eagle on it, a very small silver statue, and four triangle shaped pieces of steel. None of the coins were older than 1971. Even with the Garrett Pro Pointer, I had a rough time find the small silver statue. That dinky little thing was buried 8" deep! There's a name on the bottom of it but it's really hard to see; even with a magnifier but it looks like 'Jerome'. Saint maybe? Most of the coins were shallow but a few were 8" - 10" deep. The four steel triangles look to be 'wheel coggs' from a riding law mower? That Minelab X-Terra 3khz 9" coil sure does the job.

Congrats on the finds and if I went detecting it would be digging in sloppy mud as we had thunderstorms and tornado warnings out and it poured rain most of the night! The ground was already wet and mushy, so it has to be really sloppy now! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

nice finds. I can't wait to get out to MD . I live in mass and it is still to cold. Good Luck and God bless

well done. Pretty sure the stripped band is a hair tie.

Glad you got out for a while. We've had so much rain that we have nothing but mud here! The striped thing in the middle is a girls hair band. They use them to put their hair up in a ponytail.
