Two hours of leave from work..........:)

I took a couple of hours off from work and found out our new captain on base where I work is a detectorist also. I asked if it would be okay to detect around his house and he said to go ahead. There is a lot of history here and at one time this property use to be an old homestead. After only about two hours of detecting my time was worth the effort. I found a 1907 Indian head and one of my best condition wise, a 1907 V nickle and a 1917 merc. I also got four wheat's and a few clad, but there is definitely some old stuff there. I thought for sure one of the guys that retired from there found all the coins, but he missed these............:) HH.

Hi Eddie,

That Indian Head is in great condition, and so are some of the others.

Keep em coming.

Regards....Boony

Thanks Bonny. That is by far the best Indian head that I have found as far as the condition it was in. I shined up the V nickle as it was pretty dark. It wasn't worth anything and it showed up better when I took the picture. HH.

Thanks James. I hunted another place last year here on the base and got a few wheat's, but they were in pretty rough shape. It's close to the salt water and the ground there was very wet. I also got a couple of mercs and a 1935 wash quarter. HH.

Maybe I should have taken the whole day off Frank, but if there are more coins there to be found then they probably won't be going anywhere unless someone beats me to them..........:) HH.
