Hi everybody,
Finally got my grand slam last week, but now I've returned to previous patterns; get them all but the roosie.
Did my patriotic duty at the voting booth-long lines- and then spent the rest of the day detecting.
2 seated 1876,1887-S
2 barber 1892, 1910
5 mercs 1916,1917-S,1919-D,1927,1943
And of course not a Roosevelt to be found. But I would rather whine about a roosie than any of the others. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="

Also found two Buffs, two IHs, and 30some wheaties.
The 1876 was very worn, as was the 1875 found last week. This place didn't get going until the turn of the century, so seated must have circulated well into the begining of the 1900s or later. So there should be seated to be found almost everywhere in the USA. I didn't find many seated growing up in Minnesota (only one) and used to think that was because of lack of population at the time but actually in many counties the population was at it's peak at that time. It probably had more to do with a 13 year old using a $79 Compass Coin Hustler.
