TWO Seated dimes... a Barber and a Roosey; but Guvner tinkled on my Grand Slam Parade:clapping:

Congrats on the 2 Seated Dimes. Those always extra special to find and is even sweeter when you find one pre-1870's. Next time, try along the road or any parking area's in the area, then you should land a Merc if that is what your after. Normally, people will skip these area's thinking there is a lot of junk and not much of anything good but they can be very good producers of nice old coins if no-one has worked them hard. Congrats to a very successful hunt and Good Luck and HH to you on your next adventure outdoors.

Maybe in a St. Louis park where more then 4 is needed... You know... some of you slower guys we can kind of out run if needed... :D

Wow, I can almost picture that grin on your face as you typed that message.

You always find a way to dig the old ones Bryce. This was a very entertaining post for me after a long day on the road. Good finds as usual.

I use one simply because I don't get out hunting hardly at all and without it I'm really wore out after a couple hours.
That and you are starting to show your age:stretcher::rofl:

try any other spots. I wish we would have but It was getting dark...and I wanted to make sure I pounded the spot where the seated came from.
I agree with you 100% about spots others pass on because of high junk content. Those are my favorite places to hunt.
Look forward to your upcoming posts when the weather cooperates for you.
