two tone ferrous question

Hi all, I was running two tone ferrous today and I was using the relic program with the 01 thru 31 conductive line disc'ed out and along with the low tones and occasional high tone I was getting alot of nulling. Cannot remember if this has happened before or not. Is that normal to still get that much nulling with such a open pattern? If so is it being caused by what little disc. I'm using? Thanks all and HH.

The answer is yes. The blacked out portions of the screen still allow some nulling.
I have tried using mine with a wide open white quickmask screen and get no nulling.
But I run it with a smaller coil either the 8" sunray or 8x6 sef because I'm in parks doing coin hunting.
I went back over this small park that I already did with CONDUCTIVE and the 11" Pro-coil using all white quickmask FERROUS and the smaller coil 90degrees different direction and couldn't believe all the nickles I missed. There must have been over 20 of them??
