Typical old house stuff

Got permission to detect around an old house that may be demolished. By old I mean 1920's, here that's old. Dug 43 coins of which 10 were wheats. I didn't get any silver coins which is very unusual. Most trips 7-8 wheats will average one silver. Dug 2 big live bullets also.

The blue stone earring ( lapis lazuli stone I think ) and is stamped 925. The other ear ring is not precious metal but a very old item. The Catholic medal on the left says "pray for us St Patrick" 7 on the other side is a figure. The round token says "good in trade for 5 cents. On the back are numbers 23015. Somewhere on the net I remember reading a post about these being a common trade token used by many. No names on it. So a good haul for 2 hours today. Steve in so az

Great going Steve on hunting around the old house! Nice finds! Where there are wheaties though there should be some silver, but maybe it has been already hunted by just cherry picking for the silver! But silver might still be there after removing some of the other stuff! May God Bless! Ma Betty

Most of those tokens with the hole were used in the teens and 20's. They are very cool to find. Well done sir!

Good Morning Steve,
It's only typical if you have the ability to hunt, to be out in the field, to enjoy the beauty of God's creation around you, to be part of a wonderful hobby. In writing this, I think of MaBetty, as well as myself in dealing with the inability to get out and enjoy what so many take for granted. I know you treasure your time spent in the field, however. Thank you for sharing your finds with all of us.

One would think there's got to be a lot of silver somewhere on that property :) That's got to be worth a return trip for sure :)
