I used to be the newsletter editor for a magazine published for the Vietnam Veterans of America in Saginaw, MI.
I would never apologize for typos. My reasoning was that when I made the magazine I wanted to make everyone happy..give everyone something to look forward to. For those who liked to find mistakes, find fault with the competence of the editor, I would leave the mistakes there. They would find them, they'd complain, they'd be happy.
