Thinking of going to the UK to metal detect. Has anyone had experience with a tour operator there? Also is it possible to just go it alone? And get whatever permit may be required? Obviously this question is for anyone, not just UK folks - ha. Looks like these trips are around 2 grand for 10 days so not cheap.
But myself and maybe others on the forums, could be interested in other European countries as well. Any info. appreciated.
