... and one of my friends found a hoard of Roman silver and gold coins. Ray, ya just never know what you might find there. Right now I'm looking forward to getting away from the store for 12 days and the UK's weather temps of high 50 degrees in the morning and mid 70's in the afternoons .... and a few pints of "whallop" with the farmers each evening.

Long range weather forcast looks good and got a skype this morning from my friend in the UK that the farmers are harvesting the fields. Looks to be a better trip than last year!

I wonder what the tax man's cut will be from this find, once its sold?

If you find something valuable on your own property can it be taxed? After all, you bought everything on the property, including the mineral rights, in most cases. Doesn't that mean that you paid for any valuable item too? bbob
